Why the FPRT Launch Matters
Many individuals and families are carrying emotional pain, unresolved conflict, anxiety, discouragement, and relationship strain. They may be praying for help while also needing practical tools to understand their thoughts, process their emotions, and rebuild trust.
FPRT was created to help bridge that space.
Faith Powered Relationship Therapy is PIFOM’s signature Christ-centered model. It integrates biblical truth with evidence-informed counseling approaches, including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
The model is designed to support individuals, couples, and families experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotional wounds, and relational dysfunction. FPRT does not separate spiritual wellness from emotional wellness. Instead, it recognizes that healing can involve the whole person: spirit, soul, and body.
Its three central pillars are:
- Biblical Truth
- Clinical Model: CBT · EFT · SFBT
- Transformation: for Spirit, Soul, and Body
Together, these pillars express the heart of FPRT:
Healing relationships. Transforming lives.

Through faith-based therapy, PIFOM seeks to provide a compassionate environment where people can be heard, supported, challenged, and encouraged. Professional counseling tools are joined with biblical principles to help people renew their minds, heal emotionally, and develop healthier patterns of relating.
The launch is more than the introduction of a program. It is a declaration that restoration is possible and that families do not have to remain trapped in cycles of pain.
A Weekend for Couples to Reconnect
The Couples Getaway is an invitation for couples to slow down and reconnect with intention.
Relationships need more than love in the abstract. They need communication, emotional safety, forgiveness, shared vision, spiritual connection, and a willingness to grow. Even strong couples can benefit from time set aside to listen to one another and revisit the covenant they are building together.
During the weekend, couples will have the opportunity to reflect on important questions:
- How are we growing together spiritually?
- Are we creating emotional safety in our home?
- What patterns do we need to release?
- How can we communicate with greater compassion?
- What vision is God placing before us as a couple?
- How can our relationship bless our family and community?
This is not about pretending that every relationship is perfect. It is about creating room for honesty, hope, and forward movement.
Couples preparing for marriage may also find encouragement through the weekend. Strong marriages are built through preparation, not assumption. PIFOM offers Christian marriage guidance and premarital support for couples who want to establish a healthy foundation before entering marriage.
For married couples, the gathering can serve as a refreshing reminder that covenant is worth protecting and nurturing. Restoration often begins with one meaningful conversation, one prayer, one decision to listen, or one step toward getting help.
The Book Launch: Becoming a Power Networker
A central part of the weekend will be the launch of Dr. Olufolake Ike’s book:
Becoming a Power Networker: Faith-Powered Relationship Therapy
The book presents an integrative model for addressing anxiety, depression, and relational dysfunction through the connection of faith, therapeutic practice, and meaningful relationships.
But becoming a Power Networker is about more than meeting people or building professional contacts. It is about becoming a person whose life carries influence, encouragement, wisdom, and Kingdom impact.
A Power Networker understands that testimony is not meant to be hidden. The lessons God brings us through can become a source of hope for someone else. As individuals and couples experience healing, they can help create healthier homes, stronger churches, and more compassionate communities.
This is one of the reasons relationship restoration matters so deeply. A healed relationship can influence children. A renewed marriage can encourage another couple. A family that learns to communicate with grace can change the atmosphere of an entire household.
Through faith activation, mind renewal, emotional healing, and relational transformation, participants are invited to consider how their own story can become part of a larger testimony.

A Celebration of Life, Calling, and Service
The weekend will also include a birthday lunch celebrating Dr. Olufolake Ike.
This celebration is an opportunity to honor the life, ministry, leadership, and service behind the FPRT vision. Birthdays can be meaningful milestones, but they can also become moments to recognize the people and experiences God has used to shape a calling.
Dr. Ike’s work through PIFOM reflects a commitment to personal healing and family restoration through both professional therapeutic practices and biblical principles. The birthday lunch will bring together celebration and gratitude as guests honor the journey and look forward to the work still ahead.

FPRT Sessions Begin at PIFOM
The FPRT launch weekend will also mark the beginning of a continuing rhythm of ministry and support.
Starting Sunday, October 25, 2026, FPRT sessions at PIFOM will be held every first and last Sunday of the month at 10:00 AM CT.
These sessions will take place at the same location:
Holiday Inn
9300 S. Main St.

The sessions will be open to:

- Families
This ongoing schedule gives participants an opportunity to continue growing beyond the launch weekend. The work of healing is often a process. Renewing the mind, processing emotions, strengthening relationships, and activating faith may require time, support, and consistent community.
